Stampfairy release - Goblins

Hallo!

Hello! Today Gerda from Stampfairy has a new release and this week she has drawn a very sweet collection of goblin images. I have coloured my image with my pencils and I used a glaze pen for the eyes of the goblin and snail. I paperpieced both the mushrooms with dotty and striped paper. I printed the goblin again and used foamtape to adhere him on the original image. I cut a cloudy background and use blue chalk to make the clouds on the background. I have cut the image with the square nestabilities. The sentiment is from a stampset from Lawn Fawn and I cut it into a little banner.

I found a really cute button in my stash and I adhered that on top of the image of the little snail. The size of the button was just perfect! :)

And this is the whole collection (click on the image to see the images in the shop).

  4. As always, I love your design, the paper piecing and the layers. Love your colouring too. Do you use watercolour pencils, or just normal ones? I'd love to know your colouring secrets as they are always so perfectly coloured. I've tried pencils this week (inspired by you) and it turned out awful. My shading was ok, but perhaps I need smoother paper as it was a bit patchy. I think I'll leave the pencils to your expertise. LOL
